Objectives
- Use the Brushes palette
- Use the brush tool
- Use the eraser tools
- Create blend between different colors
Brushes Palette
- Contains unlimited number of options and setting to create and customize them.
- The Options bar contains settings which control how they interact with the image.
Blending Modes
- Affect how paint interacts with the pixels underneath the painted area
- Opacity affects the transparency of the color, pattern, or effect
Painting Tools
-Used to add color to an image
-It includes:
- Brush tool
- Gradient tool
- History brush & Art history Brush
- Color Replacement tool
-Only works on pixels
Gradient Tools
- A total of 5 gradients options available
- Preset gradients is choose able
Eraser Tools - the size and shape is changeable
-Normal eraser tool paints in 2 ways:
- Background layer - background only
- Normal layer - affects everything making that area transparent
2 Types of Eraser
- Background eraser which only affects the background
- Magic eraser which affect the same color of the area which was clicked
